The problem is that it very much feels like it ends the way the first episode of a two part miniseries ends there’s a climax but very little resolution and the epilogue is basically just a teaser for the actual resolution to the climax we just listened but now we have to wait for that until the next episode. Over 12 hours is a respectable length for an audiobook. I’m not complaining that this book was too short. The end of this book very much feels like it would have been the midpoint of the book.
I enjoyed this audiobook as much as the first with one exception… the way it ends. Another good installment, but disappointed with where it ends.
